I laughed he was to be dealt ASAP after being on the block most of the year. What does ASAP mean?

Then again Skinner was suppose to be the first name player dealt this summer too.

Highly doubt montreal will trade him for just picks. Then again Bergevin is their GM so who knows. Regardless Calgary would have to move out some salary to afford him anyway

Does Brouwer have any sort of trade portection in his contract?

The Calgary Flames appear to be closing in on an extension with RFA, Elias Lindholm. Details being worked on but expectation is 5 or 6 years at around $5M per.
